[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][atrb=style, width:450px;,bTable] NAME Thea Aideen Elinor AGE 16 RACE Human FACTION Hunter's Guild. Noncanon. MY NAME IS THEA, AND MY AFFINITY IS FIRE. MY SECONDARY ELEMENTAL IS WIND. I AM HETEROSEXUAL AND I AM PLAYED BY HARMONY. personality + Confident, Forward-thinking, Proud, Adventurous, Resilient, Assertive, Fearless, Cunning- Reckless, Apathetic, Sadistic, Egotistical, Opportunist, Impatient, Impulsive, Messy history Born and raised in the rough city of King's Hold, Thea was the daughter of a Merchant Guild member, Lira Elinor. However, through her life, she had never seen nor heard anything about her father until she was eight, finally asking her mother about him. Though it was a sensitive subject, Lira told Thea that her father died in an accident one day. She didn't go into detail, and Thea didn't ask for much else regarding the matter. But as time went by, she did notice certain comments being made. "That Thea acts nothing like her mother. I wonder if she gets it from her father?" At twelve, Thea sneaked out of her home one afternoon, bored out of her mind and wanted to do something different. The dangers of the city didn't matter to her, even though her mother told her on several occasions how dangerous King's Hold could actually be. As she headed down a street, she ran into some guys, each having a look that would make any normal person know their intentions and start to run. Thea, though, didn't run. Instead, she felt the need to fight as if it was a natural instinct. She didn't realize the futility of it as the men started to advance on her, but then someone else stepped in. His very presence made the others turn tail and retreat, piquing Thea's curiosity. The man, as he turned around, had a similar look, but seemed to know something. He became her escort as they walked around, telling Thea that she looked and acted a lot like her father, a "magnet for trouble and idiotic fearlessness", as he put it. The girl didn't know what he was talking about, but the guy didn't care about that. He said she should listen to herself more often, then preceded to hand her a pair of revolvers, stating they were her father's. It was at this point that she asked him who her father was, finally getting a straight answer. "Your pop? Heck, he was a great hunter. Aidan Noir, of the Hunter's Guild! ... Well, that's what I always called him." He then told her he died during a job, running into more trouble than he can handle. He even went as far as to tell Thea that she should 'carry on his legacy' for him. At first, the idea seemed to spark something in Thea's mind, and as time went by, it lead her to start down her path in life. Ever since Thea brought the guns home, Lira tried everything she could to keep them away from her daughter. However, Thea always found them and always went out to practice with them, against her mother's wishes. Lira grounded her, threatened her even, but nothing would keep Thea from practicing with those pistols. Thea asked why her mother was against the idea, but her mother never answered her directly. Always 'round about' replies that avoided the question entirely. As this went on, Thea started to become more rebellious. No matter what Lira tried to do, Thea would do the exact opposite. In reality, she feared she was losing her daughter. At fourteen, Thea took a step few would even dare think about. She left the city limits, looking for someplace new to work on her shooting skills. The area was hot, but she just took that as a challenge. It gave her a rush just going this far, making her smile even. But once a monster came up from behind, she started to regret the idea. As she evaded, her mind told her to head back to the city, but her instinct said to fight... and it won. Without a second thought, she pulled out her pistols and shot at the monster, starting a genuine fight with the beast until, in the end, she won. The entire experience was still coursing through her veins, and she loved the feeling of it. The thrill of a fight... She felt this was something she was missing in her life. Now that she had it, she wanted more of it. She was considering joining a guild for some time, despite her mother saying 'no' several times over. Thinking back to what that man said so many years ago, she could follow in her father's footsteps and join the Hunter's Guild, but why do that for her father? It's not like she knew him... though everything that the Hunter's Guild did seemed to catch her interest. So, at fifteen, she started to make her way to the guild... Only for fate to deal another card to her. On her way to enlist, she noticed something different. Some man who had a different look compared to everyone she had seen in King's Hold was walking about. Her head said to leave it be, but once again, her instinct ruled and she confronted him. He tried to evade her, but as she grabbed his arm, he snapped and brought a blade to her. She jumped back, dodging him, but he kept going after her. She danced past each strike, finding an opening and kicking him away as she got some distance herself, pulling out her pistols and started to shoot. It wasn't like a fight with a monster. It was much harder than that... but the rush of adrenalin in her veins... She couldn't help but smile as the fight went on. When the guy noticed her look, he started to get uneasy, his attacks becoming sloppy to a point where he started to leave himself wide open. Thea took every chance she got and, in the end, she dealt a fatal blow. The man died there... on the street... for all to see. Thea was a little too caught up with herself at the moment before she could hear someone calling out to her. Once she did turn her attention, though, she found out things she wasn't aware of. The man she killed? He had a bounty on his head. The man she was talking to? He was a member of the Hunter's Guild. The offer being made? Membership! She found it rather hard to believe that all these pieces were falling into place, but it all proved real as she was brought in. As nearly a year went by, Thea made a small name for herself as a fearless huntress. She normally takes on some rather dangerous jobs, making some even start to worry for her and try to downplay some jobs as routine and/or boring as to keep her around for longer, in case she ever took a job and never came back. Her reason for almost always doing this? "Don't you guys get it? The thrill is what I live for!" Iria (Illia) Animi - Tales of Innocence - Thea Elinor |
