[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][atrb=style, width:450px;,bTable] NAME AGE twenty. RACE human. FACTION underground slave trader; noncanon. MY NAME IS LOUELA LUCELLE, AND MY AFFINITY IS WATER. MY SECONDARY ELEMENTAL IS SPIRIT. I AM AN AROMANTIC ASEXUAL AND I AM PLAYED BY FINNE. personality + astute, negotiator, organized, business professional, supple, street smart, refined, opportunist.- sly, ruthless, selfish, short-tempered, greedy, extravagant, discriminatory, superiority complex. Louela is a multi-layered personality, one who seems rather straightforward when you look at her initially, but the deeper you go the more interesting and strange she becomes. Most people, however, don't survive past the first layer of her personality, let alone all the way down to her core, but we can try our best... Externally, openly, obviously, truly; Louela is a bitch. No need or point in sugar-coating it; she's a bitch who takes no lip and will split yours in a second if you give her any. She isn't nice, she isn't kind and she damn sure isn't girly or sweet (except in her taste for branded goods and fashion); she is a downright, 100% asshole who tells it like it is - especially when you don't want to hear it. And that's on a good day. And when she fights? Well, she's downright mean. She doesn't let people have a period of grace after being thrown to the ground, she doesn't let people go on long-winded speeches and she damn sure doesn't give people time to execute elaborate and boringly time-consuming maneuvers that give them any kind of advantage. Nope. She strikes hard, fast and often; not giving a foe time to get their bearings if she can help it, and she likes to fight as powerfully and as quickly as she can to kill them ASAP. And make no mistake, her fighting spirit fights to kill (even when she lacks the ability to do so at times). She doesn't like to wound or to simply injure; leaving a foe alive behind her is against her 'religion' as she puts it, and if foes flee she gets really annoyed. No, seriously, while she's not above running from a foe who's above her skill-level, if weaker foes do it then she gets annoyed. Yeah, hypocrisy, thy name is Louela. However, her occupation as an underground novice slave trader also demands her to become someone she has to be - a good negotiator, quick to see through people's tricks and lies, and most of all to be a professional in her line of business. She hardly loses any kind of debates concerning deals on the slaves she has priced and knows for sure which offers are going to be paid by the buyers and which aren't. Once the slaves are out of her circles, her concern for them drops down to zero where she won’t even bat an eyelid whether they're alive or dead. She does her job; keeping her best goods in the best shape so they can fetch high prices or exchange them for even better quality slaves, and cut all ties with them as soon as they are traded away. As long as she gets her money, she's fine. Louela is hard to get along with, but it doesn't necessarily mean you can't talk to her at all. She's quite willing to listen provided you have a very good reason to make her do so, and she at least still has common sense to tell which issues require her immediate attention and which don't. Though the most common expression on her face is a harsh, almost antagonistic look, she does soften from time to time. history This cruel young lady is not always who she is. In fact, she was born in the Illeian forests some distance away from the forest town Cirith; to be the more passive twin to her older sister Mirela. The Illeian forests provided them with more than enough playground for children to explore, and while Mirela was constantly impressed by the things that could be discovered in such a vast forest, Louela didn't share this interest. She had always been the quieter younger sister who liked to stay home doing nothing but stare at the sky or the tree branches from inside of their house. But because twins come in pairs, wherever Mirela went, Louela followed. Discoveries and small scale adventures filled the sisters' daily activities as Mirela got more adventurous day by day, and Louela had no choice but to get involved in all the mayhem that might come afterwards. Little did she know that her own lack of initiative was going to cost her so much more than a few scrapes in the knees. She could remember it clearly. It was a good day when their parents left the twins alone at home to fetch some herbs and food critical to their survival. They had made the twins promise to stay home and be good girls, but nope, the young and energetic Mirela couldn't possibly be satisfied with their parents' decisions. Of course Mirela had attempted to convince Louela to accompany her, but Louela was so scared their parents would find out, so she adamantly decided to stay while watching her older twin sister wander out of the house. However, it wasn't very long after Louela had rejected Mirela's invitation that she went after her. She was about to call out to her when she spotted the other bluehead, but it was all a moment too late. As she watched her own flesh and blood beaten up and taken away by mean looking strangers from behind the bushes, Louela was frozen on the spot. She wanted to come out and tell them "stop," but her natural defense mechanism said "no." Instead of moving forward to defend Mirela, she slowly backed away; and as soon as she was far enough from the cheering crowd of barbarians, she ran back to the house and buried herself in bed with her blanket, crying and shouting Mirela's name all day long until their parents came home. Losing Mirela was devastating for the family. Even after being questioned so many times, Louela refused to tell them about anything involving Mirela. Including what she had witnessed. Everybody gave up asking her after a while, brushing it off thinking that the little girl was traumatized or she really stayed home and just freaked out that Mirela didn't come back home. After all, they were always together before this incident occurred. Of course their parents were saddened by this loss, too, but they couldn't do anything about it. This added to Louela's guilt, and compelled her to slowly morph into a different Louela with the determination to get Mirela back. She grew up into a more confident young lady and learned to weave words intelligently, along with discovering world facts she never knew before. One day she came across some merchants who stopped by the forest surroundings to sell their goods to her small village, and by words of mouth learned that the strangers who took her sister away from her were most probably slave traders - the specialized category of merchants handling human and halfling as 'goods.' Knowing that, her best bet of finding Mirela was to dwell herself in that line of business. She pursued this career as a slave trader diligently, leaving the village and signing up as an executive trainee to one of the biggest slave trading circle at Gladiolus at age sixteen. She came prepared, right from impressing the head traders of the organization with her words and professionalism despite her being only a teenager to quickly climbing up the hierarchy and becoming one of the youngest elite slave traders in the history of the business. With a quick rise in position, came a quick downfall of her humanity. She threw away all hesitation when it came to treating the human and halfling goods; she threw away all hesitation when it came to getting rid of whoever blocked her way to completing her tasks. All these while hoping to find her missing twin sister soon. notes
