MY SECONDARY ELEMENTAL IS Light. I AM Heterosexual AND I AM PLAYED BY Saska. [/classy][classy=profileextended] personality ``leadership Cassiondra is first and foremost a leader, a duty granted to her as the lead general of the Empire. She is an extremely charismatic person who holds the idea of authority to a strong degree; while she does not believe that being a leader means you have absolute authority, she does believe that it means you have been granted the knowledge and life experience to know many things pertaining to whatever situation you might be put in. Regardless of this, however, her charisma comes from her ability to listen to her comrades and their points of view, not holding herself as the absolute authority, but rather the channel by which all opinions and ideas are used authoritatively. This has brought her high respect from a number of her men, as well as an undying loyalty to her cause. She believes that not making use of one's authority for the purpose of a cause is a sign of disrespect for being given that authority. ``hatred Despite being a charismatic leader, Cassiondra holds a strong hatred for the Guilds, believing them to be the cause of a number of troubles for the Empire. As such, she will publicly condemn members of the Guilds, and to pass by the general bearing guild insignia is as if you are asking for a fight. Cassiondra is willing to fight the guilds tooth and nail in order to dwindle their forces and wipe them out, if only to leave the Empire as the strongest force in the world. She blames the Guilds for the death of the Knight's Captain, who was also a good friend of hers, as well as the Royal Family for sending a number of her loyal men into combat only to die. Cassiondra does not only hate the guilds, however. She harbors a strong hatred for the royal family, primarily due to their inability to properly command the Empire. She believes they disrespect the authority they have over the Empire by sending its men into small skirmishes in which they die, rather than taking the bull by the horns and attacking King's Hold while it is at its weakest, in order to leave them with minimal losses. She believes the royal family is doing nothing but toying with their resources and cares little about the lives being sacrificed. ``rebellious Due to her hatred for the royal family and her desire to end the Guilds, Cassiondra has begun an underground revolution, a new Order which will serve to rectify the problems within the Empire that disallow the armies from properly taking out their enemies. Her desire is the death of the royal family not only as payment for the good men sacrificed for their petty commands, but also for a revolution within the Empire to bring it together under a new, stronger leader who will properly command armies and take into account the lives being put on the line. It is thanks to her reputation as a heroic Knight and her commanding ability that a great number support her cause, allowing her to build a strong foothold that can accomplish her goals. ``personally Despite her goals, however, Cassiondra is still a person underneath the exterior. Towards her men she is extremely heartfelt and charismatic, acting in an almost motherly manner towards them, particularly with things that are bothering them. She sees herself as not just someone whom they follow the orders of, but someone whom they can ask for aid in any situation, and she will help them to the best of her ability. Despite having an extremely rough exterior, due in part to her status as a general, many come to respect her after knowing that the hard exterior is merely a defense mechanism to keep harm away and to keep her focused on her duties as a leader. history Cassiondra was born in the city of Gladiolus, the heart of the empire and the daughter of a high-ranking general in the Azurine battalion tasked with protecting the royal family. From a young age, she was groomed in two ways: one, as the eldest child, she was required to take up the art of swordplay, as she had no brother to replace her and it was unlikely that any other children would come of her mother, and to groom herself as a noblewoman as well. Despite her father serving as a general, her mother was a well-renowned noblewoman, and as the daughter of both, Cassiondra was expected to have a strong balance between the two. Her life was changed, however, when she was granted a younger sister at the age of five. Arijana Seychelles was the second child of the family, and despite still not being a male who could serve as a viable heir -- not to mention the fact that Airiyel, Cassiondra and Arijana's mother, would bear children no longer, she too was brought up with the same life balance as Cassiondra. Arijana, however, focused more on life as a noblewoman, whereas Cassiondra was trained further in the art of swordplay in order to follow her father's wishes. As a result, she was not to be the heir to their family's lands, but to be the heir to their family's stature in the Empire, serving the Royal Family directly as guards. However, things in Yumiris were beginning to grow dangerous, with the appearance of monsters and, as a result, Arijana was too moved to a stronger balance with the art of swordplay. Unlike her elder sister, however, Arijana was shipped off to the Rouge battalion, to become nothing more than a footsoldier. Cassiondra was approximately twenty-two at the time, serving as a member of the Azurine battalion directly protecting the royal family. She was a well-versed soldier, able to handle both the duties of a city guard as well as a palace guard. However, in the wake of a search involving the Rouge Battalion combating the Guilds, Cassiondra came to the knowledge that along with the current general of the Rouge battalion being killed in action, her sister was also amongst the casualties. With no possible general within the Rouge ranks, Cassiondra found herself moved around to the position of Azurine general, leaving her father to take over the Rouge battalion. It was then that she was groomed to be a leader, and a good leader at that -- it was a feat that she accomplished quite well. Many of her fellow soldiers of the Azurine already held a great deal of respect for her, as well as loyalty, leaving their sect of the navy as the most loyal sect to their General. Some could have said that Cassiondra ruled them simply because she was a woman; however, learning of the loyalty and respect she commanded of her men, it became clear that her gender had very little to do with her position. With that, at the age of twenty-nine, she was promoted much further than even her father could have expected, becoming the lead general of the Empire itself. Soon, however, disaster struck. In another twist of fate, a number of Eldryn's Rouge troops were killed, also leaving General Eldryn Seychelles missing-in-action. Many presumed him dead, and that was the official statement from the Empire, though rumors began to circulate. Some believed he had gone rogue, killing his troops in the process. Others believed he had defected and begun a rebel group of his own. Another spread false accusations that he was part of the Guilds now, after defecting from the army. Seeing both her father and sister's life taken by the Rouge, Cassiondra began to harbor hatred for both the Guilds and for the Imperial Family. She believed that the royalty did not care who they put on the battlefield, so long as there were lives to sacrifice for a cause they couldn't even comprehend. So long as there were resources to spend aimlessly, putting unnecessary lives in danger because of it, they did not care. Even Cassiondra herself did not have the power to sway them as much as she had believed as the lead general. As a result, she began delegations with her most loyal followers, eventually forming a small underground resistance to the royal family. She wishes to put someone in the position that will make a difference, someone who will not needlessly waste lives, but someone who will command the same sort of leadership Cassiondra commands of her troops. She does not want the navies to be seen as footsoldiers, but as strong, willing men and women willing to fight for a viable cause, and to fight for the safety of the people. notes Cassiondra was formerly a member of the Azurine battalion [IMAGE] [SWORD ON RIGHT] before she was lead general. As lead general, she takes a neutral clothing style for all the battalions, which is why her outfit is a combination of white and black (with, of course, silver for the platemail). Her sword, however, signifies that she is still the general of the Azurine battalion with blue accents [IMAGE -- SWORD ON LEFT] while the sheath signifies she also has leadership over the Rouge battalion.
