AMBROSIA
THE EMPIRE GOVERNS A GOOD HALF OF WESTERN YUMIRIS. Very much well-known for its kingdoms, royals, and grand ideas of etiquette, the Empire is a mixture of military and style. Built into a waterfall overlooking the Illeian rain forests, water is at the heart of the Empire and many healers and water-based artes were invented there.
Although they own a great deal of land throughout Yumiris, they allow much of what's outside the Imperial City to be self-governed—in the case of upset or war, they send their infamous brigades to quell any threats. A glamorous, white marble palace sits on the topmost of the waterfall and is surrounded by the mansions and summer homes of the wealthy.
However, go deeper and darker into the heart of the Empire and you will discover that the poor live plagued by floods and horrible living conditions. Riots and rebel groups are common in the poorest areas of the Empire, oftentimes led by educated civilians and loud-mouthed ex-knights.

- CIRITH - Cirith sits in a sacred grove protected by the Empire, as Undine's Grotto is supposedly hidden within the woods. Built among the treetops to avoid monsters lurking in the undergrowth, many bird-halflings and archers are born in its web of suspension bridges and wood houses.
Humble and domestic, citizens of Cirith prefer peace and guidance from the Empire over fighting wars, and are notoriously removed from Yumiris's affairs. With strong social hierarchy—from the chief down—and ideas of etiquette, the people of Cirith are often very polite and mild-mannered, and usually quite shy or sheltered because of little exposure to the outside world. - AZUL - no one quite knows where Azul stands on anything, quick to switch sides between the guilds—sky pirates pay a good chunk of gald to them when they secretly pass through—and the Empire—for protection and help when maelstroms form within Ambrosia. The port is large, as all of Yumiris's cities seem to be, but holds a reputation for their love of playing just as hard as they work. Relaxed, usually knowing how to smell the roses while making it as seamen and women, there's still rumors of cunning and the black market business that's hiding in Azul's backstreets.
- DRASIL - originally a free-trade port that happened to bring together a slew of mages wanting to study magitechnology uncovered there, it grew after . . . all of them turned out to be too lazy to leave. A country built on its research funds, the greatest (and most eccentric) institutes, libraries, and minds are clustered together here in its cozier backstreets. Their architecture is a mixed bag of homey cottages, magitech, and levitating islands navigated by large mecha—metal giants that let them move through the treacherous skies and Thunder Plains.
Quite removed from affairs that do not involve them, the Drasilians are close friends with Xihe, the Empire and King's Hold. They have a history of terrifying neutrality and consider themselves an independent state. The people here prefer to be left alone, and their council is usually enjoying a good mud-slinging over laws and politics while the people get in on the argument. They do not have many traditions, being less than a hundred years old, and love air travel of all kinds.
THE ARMY

[/li][li]AZURINE[/b] - oftentimes considered the "safer" of the two divisions, Azurine primarily consists of people of the nobility. Its DAROTH[/b] subdivision consists of the palace, royal, and city guard, while its VERDIGRIS[/b] subdivision manages the Empire's airships and serves as its navy sector. Those considered high-ranked officials often have a military background and are literal bluebloods themselves. Their armour is blue.
